Deurne (Antwerp Airport), Brussels (National Airport), Ostend, Charleroi, Amsterdam (NL), Rotterdam (NL), Dusseldorf (D), Cologne (D), Paris (F), Lille (F), London (UK), are all reachable in between 15 minutes and three hours of travel (by car, train, etc…)
The Eurostar and Thalys trains linking the city to London (UK), Paris (F) and Amsterdam (NL) make several stops a day at the Antwerp train station (in the city centre).

The WOGA 2013 team will secure hundreds of beds in the framework of hosted housing, giving participants and visitors the chance to experience local life ‘from within’.
Extra sleeping accommodation on the waves will be a practical addition: cruise ships can supply extra beds along the river bank, right in the historical heart of town.
The province of Antwerp has a total of 9950 rooms in all different categories. This means an overall capacity for 32.778 visitors in the City and Province of Antwerp.

The chief officer of the Antwerp Police Force is openly gay (he was a speaker at the 2008 IGLTA Convention in Las Vegas). The police fully understands the ins and outs of the security policy required for the World Outgames and will instruct the whole police force to make sure that the Antwerp World Outgames will be held in a safe and secure setting.
Add to that the "Diversity" network the Antwerp Police has, with LGBT experts, and you can be sure this network will be present during the main events of the worldOutgames.
