Timespan: 5 days. Matches take place on Monday to Friday, 5 to 9 August.

What is badminton?
Welcome to Badminton at World Outgames 2013, one of the largest sports with over 500 participants anticipated.
Badminton at World Outgames is open to women and men and will feature competitions in singles, same-sex and mixed doubles divided into six levels based on experience and skill. Regardless of whether you are a seasoned veteran or casual enthusiast, don't miss this opportunity to compete for fun and medals with others from all over the world.
In badminton, players try to hit the shuttlecock over the net in a way which leaves the opponent unable to volley. This makes it fast and dynamic – players should be fit and able to run fast and long. Badminton is the fastest overall racket sport.
