With a great diversity of musical styles the WOGA Choir Gala is set to totally enrapture its audience. Three choirs will be providing an evening filled with extremes and surprises.
Mannenkoorts, from The Hague (Netherlands), took the prize for the best visual presentation during the previous Antwerp Choir Festival. They'll be sure to be putting their best feet forward this time round, too.
Pink Noise, the choir of Antwerp's own Active Company, is the host choir and will present a programme centred around love in the broadest sense of the word. 500 years of music history, from love for nature through to tempestuous love and even love lost.
WOGA are also thrilled to be able to welcome the Oslo Fagottkor, Norway's 'nicest choir' and winner of the Copenhagen Outgames Choir Festival in 2009. From them you can expect a really amusing show ranging from Edvard Grieg to ABBA.
As a finale, the three choirs will combine for a number that they've been practising specially for this occasion.
