What is climbing and bouldering?
If you like a climbing challenge and the feeling of adrenalin pumping through your body, then the bouldering competition is something for you! The competition will welcome participants of any given skill levels. Climbing is the activity of using one's hands and feet (or indeed any other part of the body) to ascend a steep object. It is done both for recreation (to reach an inaccessible place, or for its own enjoyment) and professionally, as part of activities such as maintenance of a structure, or military operations.

Dear Climbing participant,
We have reached a critical phase in the organization of the worldOutgames 2013: the Late Registration period. Time to reflect on our sports programme.
For each sport on our programme we have worked hard to reach a critical mass for each tournament. We are aiming at both professional and recreational competitions. Although we already received over 3000 registrations so far, there seems to be a lack of interest for the Length Climbing competition. We have therefore been forced to make the difficult decision to cancel this competition.
