Dancing competitions in the context of the gay and lesbian community have been hugely popular since their inception both because of their traditional qualities of dancing, and because these competitions invite dancers to define their dance styles and roles as leaders and followers according to temper and taste.
The dancing competitions are arranged in cooperation with Active Company and monitored by ESSDA, the European Same Sex Dance Association. All competitions will be judged by seven adjudicators.
The combination of sportsmanship, beauty, flow and rhythm in the dance competitions makes for a fantastic event for spectators, who will also be invited to the floor for social dancing.
