Types of tournament

Two Olympic sport shooting disciplines with air rifle and air pistol: Individual competition in preliminary and final rounds spread over two days. In final rounds, only the best 8 individuals will compete. A minimum of 2 matches will be shot on MEYTON computers.

For those who do not wish to participate in an official competition, a non-official competition between countries will be held at the same time (two days) with series of 20 shots.
A minimum of two series will be shot on paper targets.

Categories and divisions

Air Rifle Men or Air Pistol Men: 18-45 & 46-99 y
Air Rifle Women or Air Pistol Women: 18-45 & 46-99 y

Anticipated number of participants

A maximum of 40 athletes for the individual official competition and 60 for the unofficial competition.
All athletes must be at least 18 years of age or older, and hold valid membership in an officially recognized sport shooting club. Proof of membership must be shown at time of onsite registration.

Event conditions

Participants can choose to shoot one or both competitions.
Exact time schedule with exact amount of matches will be determined at the end of July 2013 depending on the number of participants.
All participants must be on site 30 min before the start of their series.
First series will start at 9.00 hours,the last end around 17.00 hours. Final rounds on day 2 around 15.30 hours.

Equipment
Standard compressed air, spring loaded, CO2 rifles and pistols conforming to ISSF regulations. Kinetic energy of the diabolos should be under 7.5 Joules.

If participants plan on using special sports equipment (e.g. protective eyewear, shoes, pants, jacket,...) than it must all conform the ISSF regulations.

Targets are included in the registration fee.
Visual shooting results will be provided.

All shooters have their own equipment & rifle/pistol available. This contest is no initiation.
Due to strict regulations, overnight weapon and equipment storage at the venue is not possible.

Please note that as from 1 January 2013, new rules from the ISSF apply. The main changes are situated in the match times for air rifle and air pistol:
- 40 shots: 15 minutes of preparation time + 50 minutes match time
- 60 shots: 15 minutes of preparation time + 75 minutes match time.

Bronze, silver and gold medals for each category and each division.

Final remarks

Admission to the tournament is free for all spectators, subject to space available and security regulations. The organization is not responsible for accidents, or loss, or theft of goods.

If there are too few applications for a particular category, the organization may decide to adjust the categories.

Any protest should be submitted to an official referee in writing. This can happen only on the day of the competition and within half an hour after the disputed event took place. In case of dispute, the final decision of the organization cannot be revoked.

Official referees will be present during the entire competition.

This competition will be organized by SPIRIT Shooting Team vzw with special support and official representation of VSK – Vlaamse Schietsportkoepel
