Type of tournament

Scratch and handicap tournaments with categories based upon your personal average. With preliminary rounds and finals.

Categories are based on official average:

Men
A 200 and above
B 199 – 185
C 184 – 170
D 169 – 150
E 149 and under

Women
A 190 and above
B 189 – 175
C 174 – 160
D 159 – 140
E 139 and under

Divisions and categories can be merged to form mixed competitions in case of insufficient players.

Competition structure

Multiple categories per participant possible.
At least 3 instances per category.

Schedule

Timespan: 4 days

Monday: 9:30 - 17:00: Singles Women & Men
Tuesday: 9:30 - 17:00: Doubles Women & Men
Wednesday: no competition
Thursday: 9:30 - 17:00: Trios Women & Men
Friday: 9:30 - 17:00: Finals for singles

Times and days may be altered depending on the number of participants.

Additional rules
It is not allowed to smoke or drink during a block of games.
It is not allowed to smoke within the venue.
Maximum 4 players per lane.
Players shall have a lane allocated in order of registration. Only exception, wheelchairs are allocated on lanes 1 and 2.
American style of play.
Referees will be present during the entire competition.
Participants without handicap shall receive a handicap after playing their three games. Handicap schedule : 70% of 200.
Singles knock-down final : This will be played by 4 or 6 players depending on the number of players.
Shifts from Monday to Thursday : 10 h, 11:30 h, 13 h and 14:30 h. It is possible to adapt these hours.
All players must be in the bowling centre half an hour before the start of their shift.
The organzation is not responsible for accidents, or loss or theft of goods.
Any protest should be submitted to the Tournament Director in writing. This can only happen on the day of competition and within half an hour after the disputed event took place. In case of dispute, the final decision of the organzsation cannot be revoked.
Accreditation is necessary before starting the competition. Without accreditation : NO participation will be allowed!!

Bronze, silver and gold medals for each category.
High game and high series trophy, for women and men, donated by Euro Bowling.
