Type of Tournament Schedule:

- Sprint: 1000 m - Male and Female (includes transgender); heats and finals. All rowers will race at least twice

- Dash: 500 m - Mixed

When you register for rowing, you register for the three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). On Monday there is a rowing tour through the (historical) city of Ghent. The registration for this recreational tour will start online in May.

Expanded masters average ages 18 - 80+:

- S1: 18 - 21 

- S2: 22 - 26 

- MA: 27 - 35 

- MB: 36 - 42 

- MC: 43 - 49 

- MD: 50 - 54 

- ME: 55 - 59 

- MF: 60 - 64 

- MG: 65 - 69 

- MH: 70 - 74 

-  MI: 75 - 79 

- MJ: 80 + years of age

2- may be added if enough entries in other events
Why no 4+ boat category? It is simply not a common boat in Europe and their availability is extremely limited.
Boat rental: Yes - for both training and competition - cost 10 euro/seat/event

All the participants who register for the rowing competition will later receive an invitation to register themselves, with an option to rent a boat.

You can pay your seat/boat during the event.

According to the number of participants, we might merge the competition to 2 days. If so, the training will take place on Saturday and the whole competition on Sunday. The recreational rowing will stay scheduled on Monday.

Public transport

When the times from the bus company for 2013 are known, we will update you with the necessary information. Please note that this will only contain information about travelling in the cities of Antwerp or Ghent, not the travelling between the cities. Travelling between the cities could best be done by train, as the line between Antwerp and Ghent is served several times/hour, whereafter you can take a bus or tram to reach your destination in the city. An update regarding those times will also follow soon.

Bronze, silver and gold medals for each category in each competition.

What is rowing?

You’d better get fit, because we all know overall fitness is one of the keys to win a rowing competition. The site on the "Watersportbaan" offers a rowing track of 2.3 km and 5 lanes.

The tournament guarantees suspense and fun!
